Prof. Dr. Jörg Franke
Jörg Franke, born in Halle/Saale in 1941, graduated in Law in 1966
with a First State Exam at the University of Bonn. After the Second
State Exam and graduation as a doctor of law, he started his
occupational career at WestLB Düsseldorf where he worked in the
legal and securities departments as assistant vice president and later
on as vice president.
In 1984, Prof. Dr. Franke became General Manager of the Berlin stock
exchange. In 1988, he moved to Frankfurt/Main where, as General
Manager, he built up the DTB (German Derivatives Exchange). After the
merger of DTB and Deutsche Börse AG in 1994, Prof. Dr. Franke
additionally became a Member of the Board of Deutsche Börse AG. In
1997/1998, he merged DTB with the Swiss derivatives market Soffex to
Eurex, soon to become the world’s biggest regulated derivatives
market. Up to the end of 2000, Dr. Franke was the Chief Executive
Officer of Eurex Frankfurt AG as well as Eurex Zurich AG.
In addition to his current function as Speaker of the Board of Berliner
Effektengesellschaft AG, Prof. Dr. Franke holds several mandates on
different Supervisory Boards and lectures at the University of
Karlsruhe. Since the beginning of 2002, he also holds the position of
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RTS Realtime Systems AG. In
December 2005 the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, appointed him to a
professorship.
Serge Demolière
Serge Demolière, born in 1958, graduated in Economics at the
University of Hamburg. After attending a two-year’s traineeship
at Dresdner Bank he acted as delegate of Dresdner Bank in DTB
(derivatives exchange) project team. Following this, he filled several
positions at Dresdner Bank, thus he lead the departments Options and
Futures as well as Trade of Domestic and Foreign Stocks. In 1994, he
was promoted to Director of Dresdner Bank.
From 1995 to 1999, Serge Demolière was responsible for the
division proprietary trading and stock exchange dealing in the business
segment stocks/derivatives of Bankgesellschaft Berlin. Since December
1999, he is chief representative there. After completing the Advanced
Management Program at Harvard Business School in Boston, Serge
Demolière is Member of the Board at Bankgesellschaft Berlin
since November 2001. In addition to his function as Member of the
Board, he performs several mandates in Supervisory and Advisory Boards
and he is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Berliner Börse AG.
Stephan Hink
Stephan Hink, born in Hamburg in 1962, graduated in Economics at the
university of applied sciences in Fulda as Diplom Betriebswirt (B.A.).
He started his occupational career at DG Bank AG in Frankfurt/Main as
an Options Market Maker in 1990. Following this, he filled several
positions at DG Bank, thus he lead the Financial Engineering Group from
1992 to 1994. From 1994 to 2001, Stephan Hink was responsible for the
divisions Equity, Cash and Derivatives Trading.
In 2001, he changed to WGZ-Bank in Düsseldorf, where he became Head of Equity, Primary Markets, Brokerage and Sales.
During 2005, he decided to run his own businesses in the fields of
trading, advisory and professional training in the area of structured
finance.
In addition to his current function, Stephan Hink performs a mandate in
the Supervisory Board of RTS Realtime Systems AG in Frankfurt.
