RTS: First Independent Software Vendor to Pass
CME Certification for User Defined Spreads on CME Globex® Platform
Chicago, April 24, 2007 - RTS Realtime Systems Group, a leading independent software vendor (ISV), announced today that it is the first ISV to successfully pass the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's (CME) Certification for its User Defined Spread (UDS) functionality on the CME Globex electronic trading platform.
As one of the only ISVs supporting all available CME functionality, RTS is the first vendor to successfully complete certification for User Defined Spreads. With UDS functionality, customers are able to choose the legs for a spread not currently listed by the exchange in order to create user defined strategies.
With the latest certification, RTS customers trading with the RTD Realtime Trading Desktop and RTD Tango will be able to:
Create covered option instruments
Combo option instruments
Send orders on UDS instruments
Support mass quoting
Create recursive UDS instruments
"We are proud to be the first vendor to complete the certification process for this important roll-out at CME, and we continue to work diligently to ensure that our customers have the most comprehensive functionality possible throughout the dozens of futures and options exchanges in our service offering", said Steffen Gemuenden, co-CEO of RTS.
